Train Simulator: BR 9F Loco Add-On Crack 64 Bit

Updated: Mar 23, 2020

About This Content Considered by some to be the pinnacle of British steam locomotive design, the Class 9F comes to Train Simulator in British Railways black livery. The Standard Class 2-10-0 locomotive was designed by Robert Riddles for BR and was the last in a series of standardised locomotive classes designed in the 1950s. The Class was originally intended for use on heavy freight trains at fast speeds over long distances; however, it proved extremely capable and versatile, being used on passenger services as well.In total, 251 locomotives were built in the Class, and 92220 Evening Star was the last steam locomotive to be built by BR in 1960.Withdrawals of the Class began in May 1964, although some survived until the end of British steam in 1968. Nine locomotives in the Class survived the scrapyard, with Evening Star now being part of the National Collection in the UK and others either in full working order or in restoration. The 9F for Train Simulator is a former Iron Horse House model, which has been updated to TS2015 standard, including new scenarios and improved exterior modelling. It is available in BR Black livery in both single and double chimney variants with BR1A and BR1D tenders. Also included are 16T mineral wagons and a BR brake van.The locomotive is also Quick Drive compatible, giving you the freedom to drive the BR 9F on any Quick Drive enabled route for Train Simulator, such as those available through Steam. Also included are scenarios specifically for the Western Lines of Scotland route (available separately and required to play these scenarios).ScenariosThree scenarios for the Western Lines of Scotland route:Border HeavyweightHeavy Haul to KingmoorMilitary MarchMore scenarios are available on Steam Workshop online and in-game. Train Simulator’s Steam Workshop scenarios are free and easy to download, adding many more hours of exciting gameplay. Should be given awa for free, or they should give us money to take the bloody thing. and NO Evening Star!. The add on is OK but they have not included any coaches with the 9f so you have to add coaches to the locomotive and secondly they have not included the last 9f 92220 Evening Star which I Believe was asked for by the players.Apart from that it is Ok.. I have just bought this loco and ran the first scenario twice. I love the look of the finish of this engine, the smoke and steam effects are good. Once I got the feel of the reverser, throttle and brakes I found it performed well. I cannot comment on the sounds as My PC does not have a dedicated sound card and I have problems with almost all Steam loco sounds as they overload my system. I am well on the way to a new system which MUST have a decent dedicated sound card.. I have just bought this loco and ran the first scenario twice. I cannot comment on the sounds as My PC does not have a dedicated sound card and I have problems with almost all Steam loco sounds as they overload my system. I am well on the way to a new system which MUST have a decent dedicated sound card.. It's a fun engine and is the largest british steam engine out for the game so far. There are a few little things that are off about the dlc. First is that the engine looks too dark, it appears pure black from all angles in the daylight. It's kind of hard to see stuff in the cab for the same reason. All in all its fun and it's woth the money if it's something you want.. I must say, that this is rather, well, DissapointingFirstly, the whistle is absolute GARBAGEThe textures seriously need some reworking in-cab. Outside looks nice enough, and it was nice of them to include two models of the engine as well as the tender.I seriously dought that RSC\/DTC actually did anything to this model before re-releasing it!The chuff sounds, as well as most other sounds on the loco, are copied DIRECTLY off of the default Kuju European Assets steam locomotives...All i can say is, at least I bought it on sale and only wasted 10 bucks on it!I was going to buy the LNER Black Flying Scotsman instead, but chose this one... All i can say is BUY THE FLYING SCOTSMAN!Would I recommend this? No, I would not. Not unless RSC does some work to it, or it is DIRT CHEAP!. All I can say is, I've driven better. It's nice if you wanted it just to add to a collection, but the whistle is rubbish and it just had generic chuffing sounds.Buy it if you want to complete some steam collection, but if you are a bit more serious, then don't. What to say about this apawling excuse for a "heavy goods" engine. Slips more then a cracked up squirrel on ice. Can't not handle 1000 ton trains like the real one can. No head code selection at all. sounds are horrid. No BR green livery or a mention of Evening Star. Even the model is flawed to the point where the tender body and chassis will become 2 separate objects not to mention the valve rods are set too low so they poke through the bottom. I can go on and on but the main point is just avoid this complete disgrace of an engine which does nothing to show the true power of the real machines if you want an amazing heavy goods engine I highly recomend the USATC S160.. Not happy at all!!! Better off with the original IHH model, if you already own it.... I don't recomend this!!Uses the same terrible Whistle as the IHH version, Has a restricted Cab camera so you can't see the tender and losses pressure to easily above 55mph.And unlike the original IHH version, you are not able to change the head-codes on the fly!! In my opinion, it was a waste of money!!! :(
